MCDONALD'S -
CHRISTMAS PICKLE

Christmas is all about family and traditions. So how could McDonald's,as a family brand be part of people's Christmas?  With one of the most discussed foods in
our restaurant:  a pickle!

We brought the - in Germany almost forgotten – Christmas tradition of the pickle ornament hidden in the Christmas tree back to life in a cross-media campaign.
Next to our commercial, in which we reinterpreted the story of the Christmas
pickle, we went on telling the story on all Social Media Channels and generated a lot of PR Buzz. The additional Merchandise finally made possible, what we wanted to reach:Bring McDonald's as close to the families as you can get on Christmas Eve: Right into their Christmas trees.
